The Gel-Kayano series was born in 1993 as the GEL-KAYANO TRAINER, designed by Toshikazu Kayano, who was inspired by a stag beetle and guided the model through its 13th edition. Three decades later, it remains ASICS' benchmark for stability running shoes. The Gel-Kayano 33, launched in June 2026, replaces the 4D GUIDANCE SYSTEM with FLUIDSUPPORT, an approach that supports the foot's natural movement instead of correcting it. The Taro Purple Dusty Mauve colorway dresses this technology in soft, powdery purple shades.
This edition introduces a two-layer midsole: FF BLAST MAX on top for softness and bounce, and FF BLAST PLUS underneath for stability, together with PureGEL to absorb impact. The dual-layer mesh upper adds a more cushioned tongue, and the drop is 8 mm. In this version, Taro Purple covers the upper, while Dusty Mauve adds a pinkish nuance that softens the overall look.

Changing sizes is easy: request the return from your account under My orders, indicate the size you want in the comments, and as soon as we receive the item, we’ll send you the new size at no shipping cost. There’s no need to place a new order.
We’ll provide the return label via WhatsApp (SEUR or UPS in mainland Spain; UPS for all other destinations). Its cost is the standard rate for your area, for example €6.95 in mainland Spain. The item must be unused and have the Next Step Verified tag intact.
