It is a low-profile training model and a direct sibling of the Japan, and this Mary Jane version transforms it: it removes the laces and replaces them with a strap crossing over the instep, a style derived from classic women's footwear that completely changes the model's character.
The base remains the same as the Tokyo: a T-toe and three serrated stripes running down the side to meet the sole, wrapping around the foot. On this silhouette, the adjustable strap secures the instep and defines the Mary Jane look.
